Archer Amazon Warrior

Legend says these warrior maidens ruled over a large part of Asia Minor. They worshipped Mare Goddess Demeter and wolf-running Artemis, may have been the first culture to tame horses, and were much feared by the post-patriarchal Greeks. Most Amazon images were destroyed to instill the subordination of women.
